YouTube was released in 2005

2) What is the definition of an influencer?
The definition of an influencer is someone or a group who impacts or changes a person to follow what they do ethically.

3) Give an example of an influencer and how many followers they have. Try and add some additional information, brand associations or other statistics if you can.
An example of an influencer is Kim Kardashian and she has 70 million followers. She is widely known for her business clothing brand skims and is a self billionaire.

4) How big is the influencer industry according to the article?
The influencer industry is significantly massive as the role of upgraded technology plays a massive role for influencers as they gain fame and popularity at a short space of time.
5) What are the problems associated with being an influencer?
A problem with being an influencer is that sometimes they can face backlash and controversy for doing something by accident or mistake which can lead to a negative downfall or a decrease in their career
.
6) Why is it suggested that audiences actually like being sold products by influencers?
It is suggested that audiences actually like being sold product by influencers is because they see influencers as authentic by their own reviews of their products and that there image makes others feel intrigued to buy there products as they have a powerful impact on there target audience .

7) What representation of beauty is often found on Instagram or other influencer sites?
The representation of beauty that is found on big social media apps tend to be photo shopped an unrealistic example for audiences leading a negative impact for them to be promoting anorexia and eating disorders for unethical standards that are not realistic.

8) What is YOUR opinion on influencers? Are they a positive or negative influence on our society and culture? Why?
My opinion on influencers is that most of them do and don't deserve the fame and money that they get as most influencers start off with a little amount of money and work there way up whilst other influencers have the money to get famous.
