mise en scene (stranger things)

 Stranger things Lighting: The lighting in stranger things is quite neutral and dark to show suspense to the audience. This suggests to the audience that the setting of stranger things is quite mysterious and intense. At the start of 1:24 the lights flicker to build up a dramatic scene making the scene end up quite violent and brutal. At the scene in 6:59 we see the character calling on a telephone and the lighting is dark and quite foggy.
