Media language
The use of verbal texts makes the audience want to read or see more information about different celebrities making the heat magazine being quite controversial as it relates to what celebs are doing and how the paparazzi is going into detail about there personal life.

The use of the colour pink being quite vibrant shows that the magazine is aimed towards women as the use of pink demonstrates the stereotype of femininity.

3) How are images used to create interest in the magazine? Find three reasons for your answer. (E.g. paparazzi images or aspects of mise-en-scene such props, costume, make-up, body position, facial expression etc.)
The use of images to create interests is the use of paparazzi and celebs facial expression. This is because the photos give us a non verbal idea of inferring about the reason and purpose of there facial expressions makes us as the audience to wanting to know more.

4) What differences can you find between the use of design and typography between Tatler and Heat? List at least three differences and explain the effect on audiences.
The difference between tatler and heat magazine is that tatler is presented more formally and politically such as mentioning prime minister Boris Johnson whilst in the heat advert the magazine provides controversial views towards celebrities and spreading mis information to gain different audiences to view there magazine. Another difference with both magazines is that tatler only uses the range of one picture for the magazine whilst in heat they include a variety of pictures to showcase the celebrities face of what controversy the heat magazine is publicly announcing about.
Media Representations

1) What type of celebrities appear on the front cover of Heat? List them here.
Celebrities that appear in heat are:

-Victoria Beckham (Known for her role in the band spice girls and married with David Beckham)

-Megan Markle and Prince Harry (members of the royal family)

-Cheryl Coal

-Mariah Carey (A pop singer)

2) How are celebrities represented in Heat? (Positively? Negatively? Reinforcing or challenging stereotypes?)
The way celebrities are portrayed in heat are represented negatively so that the they can feed the minds towards the audience to create drama for entertainment. This makes the celebrities appear controversial and negatively due to the personal views of heat's audience. This is so that they can entertain a large audience without being appeared as boring and not interesting so a way to regain or populate there audience is by spreading misinformation . Sometimes in the heat magazine they would challenge stereotypes such as Cheryl Cole being presented as dominant and strong whilst the media audience makes women appear as weak and vulnerable

3) How are women represented on the cover of Heat? Think about both images and cover lines here.
In the cover of heat, women are presented as unreliable and untruthful. For example the use of Victoria Beckham's image on the front cover of the magazine is quite controversial. This is because she is presented as reckless and out of controll because she is shown being presented as a liar. This is because the magazine reinforces the  text liar to show that thy are willing to see the downfall of Victoria Beckham.

4) How do Heat and Tatler represent social class? What different social classes can you find in the features and celebrities on the cover? (E.g. middle/upper class / working class)
The difference between heat and tatler's representation on social class is that tatler is represented as quite high on social class due to the products they are marketing. For example the use of advertising jewellery, holidays, and spas shows that tatlers audience is directed towards working class women that has a high income and a high status. This is because tatler promote s a variety of expensive range of products leading to there magazines being marketed towards women. Whilst on the other hand, Heat is presented and directed towards an audience in the middle class or mainly working class. This is because heat only provides negative and mis conducting information towards a large range of audience to not benefit information about whilst not providing marketing products for women in that status.
