camera movement

In the start of the scene at 0:09 the camera movement is very quick and intense. The use of the Pan movement builds suspense on what the character is doing to make the scene more dramatic and making the audience appear as if they are seeing the situation with there eyes giving it a human type of movement. The video uses another pan movement in the scene 1:00 to 1:20 making the scene appear more intense as the situation in this video is a man with blood coming out of his head, and that he is being chased. This makes the scene appear as a human perspective as we can see 2 individual characters by using a crane movement. This makes the audience appear as seeing the 2 characters from a high angle refering as a helicopter and plane point of view adding realism making the audience feel like they are part of this scene. the scene continuing from 3:00 shows many different angles of the guy trying to escape of police. This impacts the audience to take notice that this scene builds up to be more...

Camera work

Image
Medium shot: At the start of the video it shows the woman introducing herself as former prime minister. This shows us just half her body and just her head and torso. From this we can infer from the audience that she is well respected and has an important reputation as she shows proof that she is former prime minister. As a result the audience can infer she is intelligent and acknowledges everything. Close up: At the scene 2:44 the video call transitions to a man  typing intensely on the computer. The camera focuses on his fingers and keyboard making this scene more intense. During this scene we can see that people are in a hurry and there in a mission. To add on this makes the audience focused and confused on what’s happening as everything in that scene goes in speed.   Medium long shot: In the scene 0:52 It shows the prime minister talking through the computer but facing her back to the audience whilst she is speaking. This makes the scene seem realistic as we can see t...

mise en scene (stranger things)

Stranger things Lighting: The lighting in stranger things is quite neutral and dark to show suspense to the audience. This suggests to the audience that the setting of stranger things is quite mysterious and intense. At the start of 1:24 the lights flicker to build up a dramatic scene making the scene end up quite violent and brutal. At the scene in 6:59 we see the character calling on a telephone and the lighting is dark and quite foggy. This results the scene to look quite intense resulting that scene will become intense and fast as it is showcasing a dark scene. costume :the costumes the characters wear are mainly denim and long sleeves. This suggests the audience that the characters are based on the 80s as it has 80s furniture and denim was introduced in the 80s and how they are dressed. The character from the start is wearing a lab coat. This results that audience can tell that The guy is perhaps a doctor. In the scene at 4:31 we can see each individual characters wearing a j...

fruit bowl task

1)The colour pallet  of the first fruit bowl represents the colours of summer. This is because the colours of summer tend to be aquatic vibrant yet neutral to make it seem natural and not neon to an extent. The skills I learnt from this is select tool allowing me to fill in the fruit bowl with different colours. 2)The picture I used for this fruit bowl is a graffiti image. This is because graffiti has various amounts of colours making it an advantage for me to paste in different colours for the fruits. The skills I have learnt  doing this is using the magic wand to select paste my image on the certain shape I wanted to fill in
